Where do I Start Today?

Your personal Babbel home page is uniquely tailored to help you learn efficiently, but without too much effort! Every time you come back, Babbel remembers what you've already learned and gives you suggestions on what to review or what to start with this time.

Just a Quick Refresher...

On your home page, among a sampling of learning packages, you will see a tab for "My Vocabulary" where Babbel keeps track of the words you've already learned with a quick reference of translations, giving you a chance to do a short refresher course before you move on to new vocabulary.

Contribute to Babbel as You Go

A special feature of Babbel is the chance to contribute to the content, drawing from your own area of expertise - your native language. On the home page you will see words for which you can upload a picture that corresponds to the meaning. This will eventually be used in multimedia lessons. You can also express your opinion about other users' contributions, rating the images they upload.

Playing with Babbel

Babbel is playful and often feels more like a video game than a traditional language course. Your participation and performance is scored, so you can see how you are doing and how you rate up against other Babbel users. Every time you come back you will see the current high score among all users.
